Grillo is an outstanding grape and this is an acceptable budget option. But at twice the price, Dan's have a Grillo which is outstanding and worth paying extra for.

My first taste of this variety. Wow! Minerally, some citrus and herb but slightly off-dry (not bone dry as the flavour profile suggests). A perfect match for Mediterranean or Sicilian food - grilled seafood, chilli, anchovies, olives, vegetables, etc. Far better than SSB with this style of food. Ridiculous value. Get some now!

This is different from many whites in that the definite fruit characters are good on their own or with food. The fruit and dryness strike a refreshing balance to my palate. I am glad i have found this value driven white alternative.
