Since removing the option to list a vintage in the customer review, Dan Murphy's has effectively made customer feedback useless. The bottle I had (2018), was as the swathe of negative reviews seen throughout Aug 21 indicate. The more favourable recent vintages, likely suggest a roll to a newer vintage. The 2018 however is undrinkably dirty, slightly fizzy and full of sediment. Clearly, it has a microbial (Brettanomyces issue). Should have been recalled. Restore the option to make it clearer - ditto associated 3rd party and awards.

I bought two of these (plus two of the Tempranillo which I have not yet tried). I was very pleasantly surprised as to how good this wine was for $7.50. Tobacco, cola etc, Very nice.

I bought six...I've had three and every one has been smashing. I decanted it and let it breathe for an hour. It's rustic, bold, smoky, unfiltered and full of flavour. I experienced none of the other faults mentioned in the reviews though I could understand why it might be unpleasant to some. I just happen to dig this style big time and I love the sediment left in the glass.

When I opened the bottle, it was slightly carbonated and was full of grit. I really hoped that it would have been a good bottle, but it just really wasn't. I was hoping it was a one off, but I made the mistake of buying 2 bottles and both were like this. I'm hoping it's a very rare occurrence but I'm not holding my breath.

Embarrassingly bad. Smells terrible and the taste is not far behind. Took it to dinner with some mates and I will never live it down. They need to go back to the drawing board. If I could give it a negative I would.
