Reliable, well priced, juicy and dry. Others are cheaper but you can appreciate the quality when you taste this one. As good as other Grenache at three times the price

Well balanced wine. Raspberry aroma. White pepper flavour to begin with and slightly tannic finish. My new staple. Packs a punch with alcohol content 8.6 standard drinks. Would recommend

I tried the 2020 offering. It was awarded 96 points by James Halliday in the Weekend Australian, but you do have to keep in mind that he favours wines from slightly green fruit. So it is with this one. "Fruit freshness comes from early pickiing", he enthuses. It is 14.5% alcohol, best take an Uber to get home, but decidedly tangy, and a little mean, rather than sumptuous. The Little Giant Grenache, also 2020, is far more to my taste.

This Grenache is silky smooth without being weak. Not as dry as a standard Pinot Noir and just right as a refreshing casual drink. Can't really fault this one. Recommended.

Ruby garnet in colour. Bright, red cherry and raspberry fruit on the nose. Focused red berry flavours on the palate, juicy mid palate with pepper and spice notes. Generous fleshy fruit, supported by high quality French oak.
