a very nice wine with good tannic balance and lingering on the palate/ colour is good - great in the cans coz u can balance the pack size 250 ML versus your night - eg: drink 2, 3 etc The MAIN reason i recommend this wine is the quality vs the price point - always good - buy the bottle at $20-$22 and the 4 pack cans at even less - buy cans in preference at $19

Personally, I had a bad reaction to this Shiraz, made me feel queasy with hot flushes (I can handle all wines). Disappointed because the pinot from this brand is amazing. Might be ok for some who don't react, but I'll be sticking to the pinot in future.

This is the first wine outside of south Africa that I've really enjoyed! Hits all the right notes and a reasonable price too. Will buy more!

This wine is a very poor representation of Australian Shiraz. Poor tasting with terrible next morning remnants - must be laced with preservatives. Does nothing for the Dan Murphys reputation!

I bought the 2018 vintage, there was a hand written ticket on this items shelf price dscribing the wine to be particularly worth while, as did the reviews online. However the online reviews refer to the 2017/16 vintages. I struggled to drink a second glass of this thin, poorly tasting wine. I have had better wine by cask. I know its a cheaper wine but I dont think it even deserves to be a $10 bottle let alone $16, for which I can often get a quite reasonable quaffer.

Firm but mellowed tannins from the Shiraz grapes meld with a medium palate. I have certainly been less impressed by more expensive bottles. I would recommend this wine to people who are a little averse to the peppery spice (I enjoy) you get from some South Aussie Shiraz grapes (this is a blend of Barossa & Langhorne Creek) but who prefer a bit more body than can be found in Shiraz from some other regions. Could have probably cellared for 3 - 4 more years too.
