This Wine is arguably the best coonawarra Cabernet I have tasted and I’ve tasted more than most. Incredible depth of flavour with luscious fruit of blackberry and currant with oak to die for, yes this is serious decadent Cabernet that should only be shared with your closest like minded friends. This vintage may be hard to find but if you crave Coonawarra Cabernet you need to start searching for this.

Enjoyed a bottle of this with work colleagues and was blown away. I don't get to try wines of this calibre too often and am more familiar with the other Katnook wines, but it was well worth the wait! Intense concentration of cassis, mulberry and mocha characters with fine tannins - ideal for Cabernet lovers (am a paid up member). If you're looking for an Aussie classic for your own delight or to impress someone you respect, go no further.
