Nice and warming winter drinking. Goes well with most things.

I once bought a bottle of this for my partner after an evening out with the girls and I'd left him home on his own. I grabbed it not knowing much about wine but liking the label (as you do!). My husband who is a wine connoisseur however loved it. It's since become our favourite shiraz, the one to which all other shirazs are compared to and more often than not, fall short. Over the years I have developed my palate more and have been on many wine tours and tastings and yet this is still the one we default to when picking out a wine for dinner or to share with friends. Yes, it's got a bit of sweetness from the fortified wine but it enhances the flavour and gives it a full body. We've recommended it to many friends and will continue to do so.

If you like a big, bold, savoury red, you will not like this wine. Far too sweet. I’ve never tasted anything like it. What the other reviews say is accurate - tastes like shiraz with fortified added.
