This wine does it for me. Satisfying on all counts. Flavour giving you all the good things we enjoy while having a glass of Red. The tried and trusted brand has been around forever and they deliver only the best. Thank goodness. Whilst I love trying the new blends, for me they just don’t have that depth inthe flavour like this one. Thank you Mr Lindeman. Cheers. Whilst I do not know professionally and only know what tastes good to me I wonder if the fortified wine added makes a difference? So all Ican say is that this is definitely my favourite Shiraz. I once bought a bottle of this for my partner after an evening out with the girls and I'd left him home on his own. I grabbed it not knowing much about wine but liking the label (as you do!). My husband who is a wine connoisseur however loved it. It's since become our favourite shiraz, the one to which all other shirazs are compared to and more often than not, fall short. Over the years I have developed my palate more and have been on many wine tours and tastings and yet this is still the one we default to when picking out a wine for dinner or to share with friends. Yes, it's got a bit of sweetness from the fortified wine but it enhances the flavour and gives it a full body. We've recommended it to many friends and will continue to do so.

If you like a big, bold, savoury red, you will not like this wine. Far too sweet. I’ve never tasted anything like it. What the other reviews say is accurate - tastes like shiraz with fortified added.

Affordable, easy drinking red! Absolutely delicious!
