I would recommend this to a friend!
If you have only drunk mainly mainland Pinot, then it's a real treat to try quality Tassie Pinot such as this 2022 Avance. It has big flavour. What I'm tasting is flavours such as medium rare steak, even a bit of liquorice, on the palate and on the nose. That's not something you find in most Pinots, but Coal and Derwent River valleys produce these tastes regularly. Do yourself a favour and buy a bottle. Lovely stuff!

Working and travelling through may wine making regions in Europe gave Nick Glaetzer insight into the elegant wine styles, keenly sought after by the local villagers for their fresh fruit driven flavours. Nick's minimalist winemaking principals give the fruit prime place in the 2019 Avancé Pinot Noir. Grapes were grown three vineyards in Tasmania's Upper Derwent (55%),Tamar (30%) and Coal (15%) valleys
