Medium to dark purple in colour. Nose is quite savoury with bacon and chorizo then eucalyptus, fig, cherry and cedar oak. Palate is liquorice, fig, cherry, blueberry, blackberry, christmas pudding spices then a vanilla creaminess on the finish. Low acidity, medium tannin, medium length. Distinct taste, very enjoyable has strength but also refinement. Decant for 1.5 - 2 hours prior to serving.
