A relative bought this to share at our bbq & wow we were so impressed. A Local pinot noir , smooth, velvety & delicate, rich in colour & enjoyable to drink in even in the summer months. It made such a statement i’m looking to but a carton now to keep some in stock.

Overpriced and over hyped, always a disappointment when I buy it hoping I was just unlucky last time.

As a reference point, I moved from Cab Sav to Pinot about a year ago. Tried quite a few different Pinots in that time and always tended to settle on Australian ones (to support the local industry and all). So when Fergal from my local Doncaster store suggested I try the 42 Degrees South and it being a Tasmanian Pinot, I gave it a go. Thank you Fergal! This wine is so beautifully balanced with sweetness that lingers and without any obvious acidity. It's smooth, full of fruit and you'll be refilling your glass in no time. A seriously underrated wine that will be purchased again. At $27, it's great value, and when on sale it will be a steal!

V2021. This was confectionary, red fruits (raspberry, red cherry) dominate. So if that’s your thing, you’ll happily crack straight through to the last drop. Not for me tho’.

Enjoyed this flavourful Pinot with friends and all really gave it credit.

Easy to drink, full of flavour and has become a favourite for summer. Would recommend as a light, easy to drink pinot anytime of the year.
