I purchased this for my best friend as a gift. He knows his Wines & he told me it was the best Shiraz/ Red he has ever had and he has tried many as a collector. Right there and then I decided it was worth buying a dozen partly, as a gift to him and of course for its spectacular quality. It is great to drink right now being 9 years old being a 2006 Vintage but would be awesome to save some for several more years to come. It is safely stored in a Wine Fridge. I have tried to purchase not so much to drink them all but to offer as a gift to those who have been good to me in this life. It is from memory around $110 per bottle but in a case of 6, $105. That is a great deal. I would recommend this to anyone and of Mr. Gago who also made this splendid wine did a great job, In my opinion with the Grange Brand you are mostly paying for the name but you can buy any Penfolds Wines and expect to if stored well enjoy a good drop. Some Grange brand is excellent for sure but I do not see the value in paying that much.
