Very disappointed. Not your typical approachable French. Quite sour and gave a terrible headache, from sharing with my husband. Can’t say how it might age, but it’s certainly not drinking well now.

If you like a truly dry French white then this is the wine for you. Recommend.

Enjoyable and a good food match with light foods such as Vietnamese food and salads.

Was surprised by how smooth and easy to drink it is. Do not expect big flavours, just pleasent and not too acidic. Would be happy to drink over a sunny summer afternoon.

It is not heavily oaked. It's super tight if you drink it really cold. If you want a lovely, lightly oaked but mouthfilling chardonnay, then this is for you. Louis Latour is my go to for reliability for French wines from Dan's and this was no disappointment. A bit of age helps, but it is not a complex or heavy duty wine. Just one to put a smile on your face after it's been out of the fridge for 20 minutes and you remember how much you like this grape. A quiet achiever.

Not quite what I expected which was a bit more flavour. I purchased blindly so I would have benefited from consultation with someone beforehand.
