This 2017 French red was absolutely superb one the best I have quaffed in years, I will definitely be looking for it on my next visit to Dans

I travelled extensively in France for 2 decades and tasted wine from many terroirs, but I never came across anything as horrible as this! Maybe I purchased a bad bottle but it was awful in the strangest ways. Nose: raspberry, redcurrant, diesel, petrol, and vinegar. Unfortunately, it tasted much the same and had to be tipped down the sink. Languedoc blends generally have a red fruit and soft floral character. I can't work out what went wrong with this bottle, but it's a set of faults I have never come across before. Outstandingly awful.
