This is a good example of some of the wonderful Pinot Noirs coming out of Tasmania these days. A very refined and moorish wine.

My second experience with a Josef Chromy Pinot with the first being the entry level version being the pepik and the difference is quite clear. For only an extra 15 dollars you are getting a much more fruity, flavourful wine. Can be bitter out of the bottle and benefits greatly from decanting but is still packed full of the easy drinking characteristics of a cool climate Tasmanian pinot. If you are looking to make that step up to more premium wines this is a great starting point.
