A fine example of this grape. truly a 'special' wine. Don't smother it with inappropriate food!

The GV variety is upcoming in Australia and the Hardy’s one is very nice. This original Austrian example is a brilliant example of this grape, I paired it with a tartiflette dish. I Found this wine and dish pair 10/10. The word will get out about how good this wine is! Still under the radar currently.

I had not heard of Gruner Veltliner until I came across it while driving around Austria where it is considered by many to be the countries national wine. It is the perfect summer white wine it starts off with a refreshing zingy tang like pear taste but is dry at the same time and finishes with a hint of pepper. Highly recommend this wine if you are looking for a summer white with a difference.

Well balanced with slightly smokey smooth notes. This can be mistaken for a chardonnay but this dry white is delicious and hard to fault.
