I have this a one of my favorite fall back reds, always a great flavor and suits most situations and food.

If its Penfolds you expect the best and although this one is not the best its still good . Great fruity hit and a strong red that will go with a nice big AUSSIE STEAK.

One of my favs. Rich in flavour and the colour is beautiful. Will be buying more. I can’t understand the bad reviews

I'm sorry to rate this wine so poorly. I'm normally a fan of Penfolds and quite often buy their budget Shiraz which I enjoy. Bought this for a birthday treat and really I can't see how it could rate 97 on the Dan Murphy site. It's almost astringent. Opened it soon after purchase and wasn't impressed. Left it a day to open up but the taste failed to improve, maybe even degenerated. Caveat emptor.

Being Penfolds I thought I could not go wrong . Wrong this wine had a poor savoury flavour with fruit absent. Had 1 glass but couldn’t drink any more 🤷‍♂️

Well I read the review where it has every flavour of every food... strangely it never tastes of shiraz grape. How can it be walnut, chocolate and cheese.... why not eat those foods with the wine
