This is a superb example of an Alsace Riesling. It's dry and crisp on the palate, yet has quite a floral bouquet. Higher in alcohol than your average German Riesling, it has a much fuller mouthfeel, yet retains that chalky, almost limestone after taste that is a hallmark of this grape variety. I would thoroughly recommend this wine the next time you eat fish or chicken. On special for $22, it's a steal!
