The palate is very luscious and complex with chocolate and malt being most apparent but hints of golden syrup also in the background. Although intense and luscious, balanced acidity and clean background spirit help to keep the wine fresh and vibrant.

The wine has spent a minimum age of 20 years in various sized oak casks. These years spent maturing, combined with 6 generations of fortified winemaking experience ensures that the wine is consistent in its quality and style every year.
