Wouldn't think a dark beer could be refreshing on a hot day but the hops make it so. Not too hoppy like most of the IPA's out there, but enough to cut the maltiness.

Like a previous reviewer stated it’s similar to an IPA i.e.newtowner with a little more body. It’s a darker beer to drink in summer not like the more complex, more flavoursome porters we are accustomed to.
