Green, grassy, herbaceous and balanced with soft tannins and the mouthfeel one expects from this variety. Deep dark red in colour with slow forming meniscus and long after taste. At $10 this is a gem. Buy to enjoy now.

Yes, there are better malbecs out there, but not at this price. Please do not compare it to Valle de Uco master wines at 5 times the price. But it has beautiful true malbec violet/purple colour, smooth and easy drinking, maybe a tad sweet for a malbec in my personal desire, but really a great value, basic but true Argentine malbec. Again, my tastes, but this $10 product beats the pants of any aussie malbecs - we simply produce an entirely different and wrong beast here. The bottle and packaging sucks - cheap bottle, shallow punt, crap label. Do not try to impress anyone with this, so drink it at home :) From what I can research, this product is a large production and consistent export item - has been around for many years, but targeted at Brazil, Spain, Russia, USA. Thank you to Dans for bringing this economic but nice malbec to us here in Australia.
