Rymill Coonawarra was established in 1974 by Peter Rymill, the great-grandson of the founder of Coonawarra, John Riddoch. The 2023 Shiraz showcases a deep inky crimson color with aromas of dark forest fruits, liquorice, pepper, and aromatic oak. Its rich palate combines blueberry compote, rhubarb, and cocoa, balanced by ripe, smooth tannins for a textured finish. Best enjoyed young, it pairs perfectly with grilled beef or miso soba noodles, and will continue to develop beautifully over the next five years.
