I love a Red IPA, Six String Dark Red IPA is one of my favourite beers. This, however, was too pale, the hops were too floral and the initial taste is quite unpleasant. The after taste was okay.

it tastes great and is pretty easy to keep down. with a bitter flavoring to it

One of my favourite beers. The blend of citrus hops and caramel malts is amazing . It made my taste buds have a out of body sensory experience. A perfect drink for all year round. Well recommended. 5 stars

Yum Yum yum Dangerously so due to high alcohol content but extremely satisfying.

I usually find it hard to name my favourite anything - movie, tv show, band etc, and until recently beer was the same. There are so many new breweries & new brews popping up that you could buy a different 4/6 pack just about every time you go to your local & be happy more often than not... However, the Former Tennant Red IPA is, without any doubt at all, my favourite beer. You can tell why this has won so many awards, easily - It’s big, bold, gorgeous hoppy flavours, (the fact that it's brewed just the wrong side of the border is forgiveable). The pungent (a nod to the origins of the beer's name) hoppy bitterness on the back end of this feels almost peppery, with a beefy malty uppercut & sweet caramel spice lingering through the palate - Bloody delicious. The Former Tenant is one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had (red, or otherwise), and definitely one I would recommend to either a brand-new drinker of craft beer, or even a seasoned veteran who’s yet to try this beer. At 7.8% / 2.3 standard drinks per can, you do need to be aware of how many you're drinking - so enjoy, responsibly...

This one from Modus is full of flavour - very rich in caramel flavours and strong hoppy taste. Good to have when relaxing at home in the evening or camping when the alcohol content is not going to be an issue.
