I would recommend this to a friend!
This is a unique wine, somewhere between a rose and a heavy red. I would describe it as an excellent light red, best served chilled.
For a few years it was unavailable, then it came back. Apparently it's been quite popular in the UK.
The grape variety is an Australian innovation, so let's hope production continues, so we can continue to enjoy it with pride.

Touriga
Developed in partnership with the CSIRO, Tarrango was well ahead of its time when Brown Brothers first pioneered the light-bodied red in 1965. A cross between the white Sultana grape and a red Portuguese variety called Touriga Nacional, Tarrango was the direct result of trial and experimentation – driven by our desire to create a unique wine varietal better suited to thrive in the hot, arid climate of Australia.
