I would recommend this to a friend!
Filsell 2018 Vintage - throw out as it was the last one and considerably cheaper - great wine but drunk a bit too soon! Still, with a fair wait, it had filled out considerably. No point drinking it straight from the bottle

Just bought today and have let have a good breathe before drinking. Overall a great wine for the price! On the nose really great jammy Berry aromas however I feel sets you up expecting a much bigger punch and although the flavour profile is really enjoyable I feel like I was expecting a bit of fuller bodied experience, by no means a disappointment but the nose makes you think there's a bigger bolder hit of flavours coming your way but still a very smooth mid to full bodied experience with not too overpowering oakiness and not too tannin-ey which makes it really easy to drink 4/5

The Filsell Shiraz has an incredible depth of colour, deep purple red to the core. The nose displays aromas of blueberry, plum, dark chocolate, mocha and vanilla. The sensual, full bodied palate offers rich flavours of dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. A highly expressive Filsell which certainly makes a statement. Whilst approachable now this wine can be confidently cellared for 20 years after release. Partner it with rich beef dishes such as a tenderloin or slow cooked beef cheeks.
