I can't stand blanco tequila so always keep an eye out for reposado or anejo on special. This Altos (700ml) was a lovely, smooth surprise. I like a fiery, peppery blast but this subtle tequila with a squeeze of lime & chilled mineral water is truly delicious.

This is the best tequila under $100 for drinking straight. Too good for mixing and anyone who does the old lip, sip, suck has no idea what a good tequila is. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

I love the reposado variety in any tequila brand (not the white) one and this one tasted average. salt and lemon or cinnamon and orange are a must - or you won't get far on enjoying this one.

I’m sure it’s full of all sorts of complicated flavours - none of which you want to taste. I tried sipping it but I didn’t actually enjoy it until the salt and lemon came out.

I bought this a while ago after I'd tried a number of blanco tequillas. I thought I'd grab an aged tequila without spending a fortune. Can't comment on the blanco white tequila but the reposado does not have an amazing taste at all. Quite the opposite, you can really taste the alcohol from it without any depth or smoothness you'd expect from an aged tequila. Would recommend espolon or el jimador for well priced tequila or go the mile and pay the extra for quality stuff like Herradura or Casamigos.
