Bought this to celebrate a Home team occasion. Wasnt sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. After opening the bottle you could smell sharp fruitiness. Then after the first taste there was a mature lingering of fruit and mild salty after taste. Best served chilled with some rap music in the background,.. Holla!!

We have enjoyed 2 bottles of the Cristal so far and it has never disappointed. The most recent a 2012 bottle this week actually. Its my absolute favourite champagne and reserved for special occasions. We have just ordered 2 bottles of the 2013 because it can be hard to acquire and hope that it is just as smooth and perfect as the previous bottles. Its good to have a bottle if you know there is a special birthday, anniversary or occasion coming up that calls for a special celebration and champagne because it is not the easiest bottle of champagne to acquire. Our go-to bottle is the Louis Roederer Brut for under $100. I prefer it over the Vintage actually. But when there is a landmark celebration - the Cristal is a very special bottle at $400! Louis Roederer makes the best champagne in MY opinion. (Krug is hubbys favourite champagne).
