Cork was wet. Lost its varietal character. Too old would not recommend

Had the privilege of visiting this cellar several years ago and will always remember the wonderful experience, a grand tour of the extensive underground cellars, dug during the Roman occupation of the region and the amazing way they have adapted this to provide the perfect way to store and age their wines in the perfect conditions provided by the the Limestone caverns. I always buy this Champagne for special occasions and Memories.

Light golden yellow with a gentle bubbling. Cork fires off with a loud pop though so be ready. Very enjoyable, mid price range champagne, perfect for celebrations. Nice clean finish. Fun fact: James Bond's first champagne before Bollinger.
