I was very surprised with this whiskey, as an Aussie Whiskey I thought I'd give it a try & was extremely impressed with the flavour & smoothness. I will be making this one of my favourites.

I'm not game to try this. It may be unfair, but I bought another 78 Degrees whiskey called "Double Distilled". "Crafted from re-distilled heads and tails cuts" it says. In other words, using the rubbish that was rejected on the first distillation. I still have it, because it's so awful, I can't finish it. How dare they sell this stuff! It tastes like it was aged in plywood barrels or something. Limited release indeed! I bet they weren't game to try this again. It certainly put me off from trying any of there other stuff. And why are they calling it "whiskey" with an "E". This implies that they think it's more like a bourbon, except of course they're not allowed to call it that.
