Seems like a fairly generic wine, lacks character.

More refined than their Woodcutters and a clear cut above. We are very pleased with it, and would buy again.

Over the years I have enjoyed many wines from Torbreck and they have been one of my favourite Barossa vineyards. I was quite disappointed with the Sporran as it missed the mark for its price point. Way too young and needs years of cellaring to settle. It needs to be decanted if you want to drink it now. If you are keen on a Torbreck Shiraz spend $10 more and pick yourself up the Struie.
