I was weary after reading some reviews but this is excellent! Currently drinking a 2023 vintage which is very fruit forward (which I love) and exceptionally smooth. Very rich with notes of dark berries, plums, spice, and dark chocolate. This would pair wonderfully with a rich beef ragu or premium cut of steak.

I purchased several bottles of the 2023 Sporran. Highly disappointing. Very acidic, thin, and lacks character or depth. I have tried it with food, decantered, with friends, and over multiple days - and disappointing on each occasion. If you research Sporran, it is not really available through Torbreck directly. Seems to be made exclusively for retail, and appears to be a way of moving on grapes not fit for the 'normal' Torbreck range. This experience has soured by view of Torbreck as a brand.
