So called soju advertised by Dan Murphy's. However when taking a closer look to the label it is actually applewine which is vile!!! Highly do not recommend as the heartburn is strong with this one.

I am somewhat shocked and surprised that you are advertising Chateul Soorok as soju.
Having worked and lived in Korea for the past decade, I can assure you that Koreans do not consider Chateul Soorok as soju.
By definition, soju must be a starch=based spirit ... Chateul Soorok is fruit-based i.e. Apple.
As such under Australian tax rules, Chateul Soorok falls under the Wine Exemption Tax. Soju barnds like Jinro and Chum Churum, these brand falls under Alcohol Excise Tax.
To have a reputable retailer like Dan Murphy to make false misrepresentation, it is misleading to consumers.
Very poor form, Dan Murphy!
