Overpriced at $18, more like a $7 bottle, very poor quality and terrible taste

I spoke to a friend who used to work in Argentina he recommended I try this wine. I’m now hooked! For me and my taste it’s a favourite that I am still buying.

This is a "mid range" priced malbec, and I take into account this modest price in reviewing it. Great colour, easy drinking, very genuine Argentine malbec. No faults, but perhaps not as complex as pricier products, but really a truly enjoyable and authentic argentine malbec experience. The bottle is decent - cork closure as is the norm over there (ie not swill produced and packaged with an international intent), the bottle is solid, and the label is dignified - so you can walk into a BBQ or a restaurant without fear. To get a better malbec than this you need to severely step up in what you want to pay. I also rate Trapiche Pure malbec as a decent drop, but within the cohort of Dans argentine malbecs under $25, to me this is the clear winner.

Real cracker of a wine; possibly the best Argentinian malbec I have tried. Sumptuous colour and a rich mouth filling flavour make this rate in the "superb" category. At eighteen dollars this represents incredible value. Tres ripper.

Very smooth. It’s really a good wine to be honest.
