Great packaging, but a poor Pinot Noir

The 'bagnum' packaging is a winner, but it's a shame that Cupio is testing the market for it with such a poor wine. This pinot was barely drinkable - certainly not an enjoyable experience. Its rim was transparent and the colour of the body so ruby it looks like a dirty beaujolais. Its bouquet was unremarkable and the palate too bland, no plum whatsoever.
This should not be in the "Premium Reds" aisle in the store.

I would recommend this to a friend!
I was purchasing the bottles, then found this. So much better, less glass waste, taste is the same, for me. As a bonus it travels fantastic, no worries about broken bottles while holidaying.

This Riverland wine has a brilliant medium ruby hue. The bouquet displays fragrant aromatics of ripe raspberries with a hint of confectionary. The palate is juicy and sweet fruited, full of ripe berry fruits with soft tannins and good length.
An enticing highly aromatic release with a palate of finesse and balance and a soft juicy fruit profile. While drinking well now, the wine will comfortably cellar over the next 2 years.
