A variety of unique botanicals, with foraged sea lettuce, native blood limes and sandalwood nuts some of the more intriguing inclusions. The nose is crisp with strong citrus and a hint of seawater. The tart citrus comes through again on the first sip, giving way to the familiar juniper and a hint of salt and pepper which lingers at the end. If you want to dip your toes into the world of savoury gin flavours, the Strangely Savoury is definitely the one to start with. It’s subtle and moreish, and balances the botanicals without knocking you over with sea water or another savoury ingredient. Serve it up over ice with a splash of tonic and a citrus garnish.
