I found this a good chardonnay with just the right amount of flavour, not too dry and a pleasant bouquet. I must admit that I think it is the best Victorian chardonnay I've had.

I dont usually like chardonnays as i find most too dry and acidic but this was so smooth, easy to drink and has a really good mouth feel. It's also very fruity. Just delicious! We had it with pizza. Would have it on its own as well. Definitely my go-to white wine from now on.

A nice change to the big ripe oaky sweet in your face styles at this price. It is racy and fresh with lots of citrus focus. It is makes regular appearances in our house and is perfect for the warmer months.

I have no idea why this fab wine has such bad reviews. I am Very Fussy with my Chardies and this one packs a punch. Lovely cool climate complexity - apple, citrus zest and pineapple create a tart and surprising finish. I have already purchased more and will pop some in the cellar for later years. Yumm I say, especially at the members price.

I was looking forward to trying this new wine as I generally love Victorian Chardonnay’s. It has limited legs, no bouquet and an unpleasant texture. It’s very minerally with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. I have taken 30 minutes to write this as I keep tasting the wine to see if I am being unreasonable in my review. My wife wasn’t sure it was a Chardonnay and it’s actually like a Pinot Gris. She likes it so maybe I am being too judgemental. Definitely a modem style of a Chardy with no creaminess and little texture and a mineral acidity. Won’t buy again and disappointed with it - 2020 vintage. I do like old fashioned full bodied Chardonnay’s so maybe my review is coloured by that - that said this wine just isn’t doing it for me.
