I would recommend this to a friend!
New age French red. Good structure & finish and it’s nice to occasionally pop a cork… something about that sound and smell.
I agree with previous reviewer comparing it to Barossan’s. To me, a little more delicate however. Pairs nicely with a good steak, vegetables and chippies. Or cuts through a hearty spag bol perfectly.
I like what E.Guigal has done with this. Côtes du Rhône is typically spicier and sweeter than your Bordeaux faithfuls and this one is true to form.
I notice the price creeping up over the last couple of years, so hope that DM can flex that volume buy muscle to keep this one attractively priced.

This tastes like new world wine. Very fruity and bold, and there is some tanin.
Some people may say wine from Barossa are better than this wine but I think this wine competes well with local Barossa wines. I got it for 20 bucks from somewhere else, so I would say this is excellent value for money. Dan Murphy need to lower the price because some othe so
