If you are looking for a robust red, this isn't it. But, if like me, you prefer your reds medium bodied, silky, interesting and joyfully drinkable, then this is a beauty. For whatever reason Heathcote reds are often lumped with 'big' reds. Maybe some are but I have always been attracted the very approachable fruit, the soft tannins and drinkability. If you like Bellarine and Yarra Valley shiraz, this is worth a try.

Terrible wine. $13 at best. Avoid like the plague. Thin front pallet non existent back pallet. Don’t be fooled by the marketing.
