At first glance you think “cmon for $12 how good can it be” and sadly we have come to a point where the cheaper Vino has been shaded and shunned and those with a hefty price tag have reigned supreme. However when you first open this bottle you get hit with fresh scents of berry and and plum as promised however there is a slight earthiness to it keeping the scent interesting and new. The taste delivers a slightly sweet profile on the front but soon after you are welcomed with a savoury note on the back and a very interesting flavour profile with rich ripe blackberry hitting you hard but don’t let me fool you this wine may be slightly sweet at the start but it’s a trick! Trust me when I say this wine is not only valid for money a testament to the more lower cost red wines we have come to judge.

Not dry, quite sweet…not to my taste. Didn’t enjoy it

For those of you who are not one dimensional, big Shiraz boofheads….try this wine. It is truly fantastic. Thankfully there are winemakers who can give us something different and exciting. Marvellous!

Very fruity but also sharp on the taste buds. Not something I would buy again. I will stick to Shiraz thank you.

can't go past it at this price- punches above its weight

This is a sensational wine. Easy on the palate and smooth as! Have tried all of the Old Fat Unicorn range, apart from the Pinot Noir, and we have settled on this one as our favourite. Very easy to drink and well priced for the quality.
