First thoughts were liquified raisins and it’s a pleasant after dinner fortified. I thought Rutherglen but apparently it’s Adelaide Hills. Nice Tawny

Not a bad tawny, but I ordered online and didn’t notice that it was a half bottle. Dan’s should maybe highlight non-standard bottle sizes a bit better imho. Yes it has a cork you need a corkscrew for but that’s not so difficult to manage.

a bit rough, not mellow at all, the spirit is not in harmony with the wine. go for the known tawny ports.
