I would recommend this to a friend!
Due to budget considerations I don't buy this regularly, but if it's on special, I'm there. A complex agave spirit from a Mexican based, Australian owned distillery, I can honestly say that there is nothing else out there comparable. Like a lighter, more floral version of high end tequila. I haven't tried the pechuga yet, but based on the Pulque distillate, I definitely will at some stage.

This Raicilla is like good Tequila, but better. It has this slight hint of fruits and botanicals on the nose, its as smooth as a good gin, but with the plant/agave notes coupled with hints of fruit, and a really easy smokey element as well. Highly recommended as a switch up from Tequila or Mezcal.

Australian Owned, Mexican made. Better for you, lower in calories. Not noted for heavy smoke like Mezcal, there is a gentle presence of smoke but what exudes on the nose is prominent florals and fresh fruits. Fresh citrus and dried pear to be specific. On the pallete is a more pronounced citrus and muted sugars at the back of the tongue.
