Thought we were buying an award winner but found the taste underwhelming and would not buy again. Slightly dry but no distinct flavours of note nor anywhere near a French champagne as claimed. Prefer a Mumm at similar price any day.

So after reading great reviews of another australian sparkling batting above its weight we thought we would give it a try . The age reported the 200 $ lare disgorge beating krugs etc! So tried the$70 local and was underwhelmed. Sure its smooth etc, but if you like french champagne,and even the bargain mumms ,etc you will be dissapointed i would not buy this again even if it was half price ,and approaching the (lower ) cost of cheaper french champagnes. Reaaly could not see whatthefuss was about. Overpriced . If i am going to spend 70 or 200$ on wine it will not be on locally made stuff.
