So different from the usual NZ chemical/mineral assault on the palate. Pretty good price too.

The flavour is complex and intriguing, and the wine is beautifully dry. This is one I will buy again and again. I am surprised the expert reviewer only gave this 90 points.

A typical wine of the region with distinct passionfruit flavours dominating. Quite different from the austere minerality of Sancerre across the river. This is not one of the better wines from the region but represents excellent value for money, particularly for those who like a sense of place in their wine as opposed to the generic NZ wines.

We bought this based on one of the Dan Murpy staff tags. The tag said it was better than Aust/NZ save blancs....we don't think so.

misleading description making one believe that this is fruity sav but reality is this very dry sav..... drier than beer and leaves bad taste in the mouth.
