This is an excellent buy and is a very refreshing and top champagne for price.

We only bought this Champagne as our visiting friends are champagne drinkers .. to our surprise we really liked it! Will now be our "go to" champagne!

Not sure if it was a storage or a production issue but the particular bottle I purchased was undrinakble. Sour and flat. Very disappointing as I was drinking it with friends. Will never buy again or recommend. I wish I'd used the $37 to buy another $41 bottle of Mumm, which was lovely.

Pol Gessner Brut is the cheapest delicious champagne that you can buy. It could easily retail for double the price, (and I would probably still buy it.)

We received this as a gift with another French bubbly as our friends know we’re partial to the bubbles and normally stick to the local offerings. This was a very mild brut - agree totally with other reviews it is on the sweet side. The palate is fresh with a clean finish. But there’s not a lot of depth or complexity with this drop. If you like a light, fruity bubble with a clean finish and a bit of the sweeter side, this is a good drop for you. For my money, the Kreglinger along with Janz and Arras bubblies provide better depth of flavour, a more complex palate and are much more dry like we like our brut. They’re also made in Australia and of equivalent cost. It should be expected that a vintage bottle trumps a NV every day, but this NV is more long the lines of a yellow glen for our taste. It’s certainly no better than locally produced NV offerings and when put at price point, I’d buy an Arras brut elite over this every day.
